Hicken’s answer is YES!
Stephen Hicken and family members have
initiated eight young men including his four sons and four
nephews. Hicken organized and led his first family-based
rite-of-passage in 1995 and most recently for his youngest
son in 2009.
This resource consists of a set of
two DVDs that features a 2007 workshop offered by
Hicken titled From Boy to Man: Family Rites of Passage
for Adolescents and a manual that
explains in detail how to create family rites of passage for
young males.
